Posted by: Verband Deutscher Kunsthistoriker e.V.
Deadline: Thu, June 17th, 2021
The Association of German Art Historians and the Institute of Art History at the University of Stuttgart together with its partners, the Institute of Architectural History and the Stuttgart Academy of Fine Arts, will host the 36th Congress of German Art Historians entitled FORM FRAGEN. The Congress will take place in Stuttgart from 24 to 28 March 2021.
Interested colleagues are invited to submit their proposals for lectures relating to ten sessions, to four sessions of the professional groups as well as to a session of the working groups of the association.
Since the congress is a biennial meeting of a German specialist society and an event of national significance with international participation, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) usually provides funding for speakers from foreign countries. Funding is provided for travel expenses (rail or air) for roundtrip travel to the meeting as well as maintenance costs for each day of the event.
Conference languages are German and English.
The complete Call for Papers is available on our congress website: https://kunsthistorikertag.de/en/
Closing date for submissions: 17 June 2020.
Applications may only be submitted to the association office using the online application portal on the congress website.
